Andrew Biagioni
Legal & Contracts Interface
LLB, GDLP, MBA, BENG.T. (U-Grad)

Combining a background in law and civil engineering, Andrew has been involved in the contract management of numerous private and public sector projects across a wide range of engineering disciplines including:

  • Urban residential and commercial development;
  • Waste treatment and landfills;
  • Water and waste water projects;
  • Local government engineering;
  • Urban development and renewal;
  • Planning and development consulting;
  • Major road, tunnel, rail and bridge construction; and
  • Mining and natural resource projects.

Andrew’s project experience includes major projects for large corporations, developers, and government clients. Specifically, Andrew has been involved in:

  • Analysis of legislative and regulatory controls on development projects;
  • Contract drafting, negotiation, and administration;
  • Procurement management;
  • Project costing, budgeting, and forecasting;
  • Dispute resolution;
  • Risk analysis and allocation;
  • Tender preparation, processing and assessment;
  • Asset management and whole-of-life costing;
  • Strategic analysis.

Andrew is well informed of the associated planning, statutory, and contractual systems and procedures, as well as current government legislation and initiatives. On a commercial level, Andrew has taken a keen interest in project financing and corporate administration, and is well informed of the relevant legal, commercial, and social obligations involved therein.

Andrew has undertaken project work in Victoria and Queensland, and currently lives on the Gold Coast.

Andrew takes an interest in issues, development, and initiatives affecting southeast Queensland, and maintains close association with the local financial, development, legal, and engineering industries, as well as the tertiary education sector. Andrew is a guest lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland where he provides experience to Masters level students in relation to procurement, risk and contract management.

Jason Biagioni
Construction Interface/Procurement Consultant
MBA (U/Graduate)

Jason has been involved in the development and building industry for over 10 years, in both a capacity as a developer and contractor in both Victoria and Queensland. Specifically, Jason has experience in procurement and trade contract letting in the building and construction industry, including:

  • Procurement;
  • Contract costing, budgeting, and forecasting;
  • Risk analysis and allocation;
  • Tender preparation, processing and assessment; and
  • Contract negotiations.

Jason is well informed of the associated planning, statutory, and contractual systems and procedures, as well as current government legislation and initiatives. In addition, he has developed a good working relationship with trade and building contractors and suppliers, and is well qualified to undertake contract negotiations.

Having been involved in project delivery from both a developer and contractor perspective, Jason is well placed to understand the commercial needs and challenges of all parties within the construction contracting industry.
